IEEE 802.11 n/ac/ax/be (WiFi) LDPC Decoder

The IP Core:

• implements an optimized IEEE 802.11/n/ac/ax/be (WiFi 4/5/6/7) compliant Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) decoder, 

• implements layered LDPC decoding for faster convergence,

• supports all WiFi code rates; 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6,

• supports all frame lengths; 648, 1296, 1944, 

• has configurable max-iterations input,

• and implements early termination to save energy.

IEEE 802.11 ad (WiGig) LDPC Decoder

The IP Core: 

• implements an optimized Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) decoder defined for the IEEE 802.11 ad (WiGig) standard,

• implements FCMP-based LDPC decoding for the fastest convergence,

• supports all WiGig code rates, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 13/16, 

• has configurable max-iterations input,

• and implements early termination to save energy. 

5G-NR Compliant LDPC Decoder

The IP Core:

• implements an optimized Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) decoder defined in 5G-NR LDPC decoding, 3GPP release 15,
• implements layered LDPC decoding for faster convergence,
• supports all code rates for base graph 1,
• supports all code rates for base graph 2, 
• has configurable max-iterations input,
• and implements early termination to save energy.

The IP Core: 

• implements an optimized 5G-NR polar decoder compliant with polar decoding, 3GPP release 15,
• implements simplified successive cancellation (SC) decoding,
• supports code lengths of up to 512 bits. 
• significantly improves latency and throughput of the decoder by implementing radix-n F and G accelerators.
